Patients, staff and visitors will be able to access free parking at hospitals and health facilities across regional NSW from 1 August 2023. NSW Regional Health Minister Ryan Park said the change will make a big difference for patients, their families and carers. Mr Park made the announcement at the site of the new Tweed Valley Hospital where he was joined by Federal Member for Richmond Justine Elliot and Health Services Union Secretary Gerard Hayes. Mr Park said free parking was already available for staff in NSW regional hospitals but has been expanded to include patients and visitors.
