KUALA LUMPUR, June 28 (Bernama) -- Eastspring Investments (Eastspring) has warned that the odds of a recession in the United States are rising and that it could happen in the next six to twelve months as the US economy absorbs the full impact of interest rate hikes.  The Prudential asset management company's portfolio manager Nupur Gupta pointed to two indicators that have led to the prediction, which are the US Conference Board's leading economic index and the shape of the yield curve in the US Treasury.
