LAPU-LAPU CITY, Cebu—The Department of Health in Central Visayas (DOH-7) has already disbursed 99.5-percent of the P1,850,788,660.23 intended as payment of the Health Emergency Allowance (HEA)/One Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) allowance (OCA) for the healthcare/non-healthcare workers in private and public hospitals in the region. The amount covered 1,657 approved HEA for their monthly claims, benefiting 253 public and private health facilities in the region, excluding DOH Hospitals and Treatment and Rehabilitation Centers.
