Photo from the PCG MANILA, Philippines — The decommissioned Philippine Navy ship that will be used as a mock target in the joint military exercise of the Philippine Marine Corps (PMC) and its United States counterpart got stranded off Morong town, Bataan on Friday, the Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) said. The PCG said the former BRP Lake Caliraya ran aground in waters off Sitio Crossing at around 8:00 a.m. while being towed toward Zambales where the so-called sinking exercises are slated to be held.
