COVID-19 positivity rate up in Metro Manila, 14 provinces — OCTA
MANILA, Philippines — The seven-day COVID-19 positivity rate increased in Metro Manila and 14 other provinces from March 25 to April 1, the independent analytics group OCTA Research said on Monday. 'In the National Capital Region (NCR), it increased from 3.2 percent to 4.4 percent,' OCTA fellow Guido David said in a social media post. Despite the increased rate, it is still below five percent, which is the World Health Organization's threshold for containment of the coronavirus. David said the nationwide positivity rate stands at 4.
