The City of Hobart is once again calling on local artists to apply to paint their original works onto traffic signal boxes around the city. The Traffic Signal Box program utilises existing State-owned infrastructure throughout the city as a canvas for new and emerging artists and community groups. Hobart Lord Mayor Anna Reynolds said painted signal boxes were a familiar sight around the city. "The signal box project provides a wonderful opportunity for our communities to express their creativity and have a direct hand in developing the character of their neighbourhoods, Cr Reynolds said.
