MANILA -The Ayala Group's Bank of the Philippine Islands (BPI) is partnering with one of the country's biggest money transfer firms to expand its reach across the Philippines. In a statement on Thursday, BPI said Palawan Pawnshop would be its newest remit-to-account partner. 'The partnership enables Filipinos to send money straight to a BPI account through Palawan Pawnshop's over 3,000 branches nationwide with greater speed and convenience,' said the country's third-largest lender.
